"She didn't eat it?" I asked Kanwal looking at the untouched breakfast as she walked out from Noor's room.

 

"No."

 

"Where is she now?"

 

"Inside."

 

"Hmm... I want to talk to her alone." As I told her, she gave me a pleading look.

 

"I won't do anything. Just talk." She nodded and left.

 

After knocking on the door I stepped inside and found her leaning against the window, wearing a lemon yellow coloured dress with her head covered with her dupatta. Looks so innocent and pure, just like Noor (soft gentle light).

 

"Why didn't you eat?" Upon hearing my voice, she steadied herself.

 

"...I am not hungry."
