"Adriana! Adriana!" I heard again and a seeping fire crawled into my heart as I sucked on all the energy. The pendant shone brightly on my neck as tears rolled down my eyes.

The fire filled my veins, going to every part of the my body. I could no longer feel the wolves biting at my flesh. In a moment, everywhere was quiet. Then a bloodcurdling scream followed as I felt all the heat leave my body. A blast of light followed, reaching out and radiating all around me.

I breathed harshly and opened my eyes to see all the burnt...
