I was busy with my papers when I received Gayle's text saying that she's already at work. I replied and said that I am at work too. I continued on my paper and I didn't notice that I've been at it for a few hours already.

I took a break and took my cellphone. I was about to call Gayle when my phone rang and her name appeared on the screen.

"Hey," I said, "I was just about to call you."

"Ethan," She said. She sounded serious. "I have to tell you something."
