It started to look like the universe was being in my favor. Magnus, although acting cold as he always had, spoke calmly to me in his office. He apologized when he felt like he was wrong with his decision, and he appreciated my compliment. Could this be Jasmine's doings?

As much as I'd like to apologize to Janine or appreciate her efforts, I wasn't certain that she was the one behind this new Magnus. And she definitely would agree that she was the one, if I'd asked her.
