Emily's POV

"How come you are here? Caroline? How did you get to this place?" I couldn't believe my eyes. I welcomed her with a big hug but then she said that we needed to be safe before she would say anymore words.

"Where do you think you're going to?" Marcus guards blocked us from moving out of this room. Their faces were fiery and furious and it seemed like Marcus would be here anytime soon.

"Let us go and you will live." Caroline threatened and I could feel the power of the threat, too. But the guards were unfazed and they turned around to look at the oncoming figure....
