Emily's POV

I rushed towards Logan's room as quickly as Magnus shut the door behind me. When I arrived, I realized he wasn't there.

"He went AWOL with his guards," one of the guards at the entrance said. "We're still trying to figure out where he went."

My heart started racing and I felt anxious.

"You must have some idea," I pressed, biting my lower lip.

The guards shrugged, but one of them spoke up.

"The full moon is rising tonight," he said. "I think he might have started his journey to...you know, prepare."

I paused, thinking about his words.

"Wait, you said full moon?" I asked, frowning. "We don't...
