Seven years had passed since the day I stood in the Emerald pack hall and claimed my name.
Seven years since two packs chose to stand together instead of apart. And that day, the courtyard was filled with laughter instead of whispers.
It was Reagan’s fifth birthday.
Green and silver banners hung proudly around the courtyard, moving gently in the breeze. Flowers were woven along the railings and wrapped around the wooden posts.
