Anna and Audrey went to check my accessories catalog at the showroom with Cadence, while I trotted off to my office followed by Tristan. Just as the door closed, he rushed towards me and pulled me into his arms, flush against his chest. The warmth and the tingling smell of his cologne hit me and I felt lost in him, just like I always did whenever he was near me.

"What are you doing? Mom and Anna will come in any minute," I said eyeing the door with dread.
