Adam and Shirley had gone to visit Adam's parents. It was long overdue since his granny's party. She knew that this day would surely come and surprisingly, she felt neutral. She wasn't nervous at all.

She and Adam sat in his parent's magnificent living room and she busied her mind with how beautiful the parlor was. The chandeliers above were a once in a lifetime sight. The cushions were soft and lovely as hell. She wondered how long she was going to enjoy this; being Adam's fake girlfriend and seeing all this luxury.

Adam's parents approached them. She gulped as she began to feel a little nervous.

"They're here. Act...
