Bena's POV

I drove the car fast and recklessly on the way back to my apartment from Lawrence's villa. En route, I replayed what he told me over and over again, like a broken disc stuck on the worst, most horrifying part of a horror movie.

It was ironic, wasn't it?

When he asked me to come to the villa, I actually thought that I could move in and be with him. I was excited. I even finished work early just to go see him, hoping for good news.

I had dreamt of the day that Eleanor wouldn't be in his life. But to my horror, they had made up...
