Bena was right – her apartment was indeed very safe. No one was allowed in.

But I was still worried about Eleanor, even though I knew the one she loved wasn't me and now she was staying with Logan.

I was sitting on the sofa. Bena had just dressed my wound, but the cut where Charles had stabbed was still deadly painful.

Standing in front of the mirror, Bena dressed herself up. She had changed many dresses, and inquired, "Lawrence, how about this?"
