Our appointment with Uncle Nathan was in the afternoon, so the next morning I quickly popped over to the hospital to check in on Madison.

I was worried about her and at the same time, I was overweened with guilt and worry. Oh how I wish I could Warn Madison about the impending war, but all I could do was feign ignorance.
