Lawrence's words echoed, "She's a bit of a nervous wreck, just like Stella..."

Intuitively, if this aunt had been there, she would not have liked me.

Stella killed herself because of what happened with Logan and me, and if Aunt Marissa knew, she would surely hate me as much as Stella did.

Lawrence threw me a quick look, "Don't worry, Aunt Marissa will not be coming. As I said earlier, she's not in a good state of mind, so she's been staying at Uncle Nathan's house."

I was curious about the fate of the husband, "And then what happened? Did you ever find the man?"

Lawrence said, "I...
