Deviana let out a long sigh while clutching her shopping bags. That night, the shopping mall had begun to empty, some store lights already turned off. She walked slowly toward the underground parking lot, the sound of her footsteps echoing between the concrete pillars.

Yet, for some reason, her skin prickled. As if unseen eyes were watching her from the shadows.

“Don’t be paranoid, Dev,” she whispered to herself. “Just because of those news stories doesn’t mean everyone’s watching you.”
