Henry exhaled, frustrated. “I’ll just open the door and find out,” he muttered before pushing it open.

The room was empty.

“Not in her room... Where is she?” he asked himself quietly.

“Young Master, I hope there is no problem. Do you need anything, sir?” a maid rushed in, concerned.

“Where is my wife?” Henry demanded.

“Young Master, Madam went out,” the maid replied nervously.

“Where did she go? And why alone?” he asked sharply.

“I heard from the maid accompanying Madam that they went to the cemetery. Madam wanted to pay her respects to her late mother,” the maid said.
