The silence in the room was so thick, I could hear my heartbeat in my ears.

Kendra’s fingers trembled as she held her phone.

“Kendra,” I whispered, “tell me you deleted it.”

“I’m trying!” she said, tapping the screen like her life depended on it. “I’m deleting it, I swear—oh no.”

Jaxon leaned closer. “What? What’s ‘oh no’?”

Kendra froze, eyes wide. “Claire… she’s already seen it.”

My stomach dropped. “What do you mean seen it?”

“She’s typing,” Kendra said quietly, showing us her screen. Sure enough, the three dots were blinking. Then the message popped up.

Claire: ‘Wait—what? Sienna is pregnant for Jaxon? What are you talking about?’...
