I woke up finally around 10am to Jaxon’s arm lazily thrown across my waist and his breath warm against the back of my neck.
“Good morning,” he mumbled, voice rough and sleepy.
I smiled into the pillow. “It’s almost afternoon, birthday boy.”
He nuzzled into my shoulder. “I don’t care. Come back.”

I tried to roll away, but he pulled me back instantly.
