“Careful mother,” I advised the elderly woman whom had given birth to me as I held her by the arm and urged her to climb into the backseat of the SUV.

“Hold,” she suggested and I paused, Lora peeking at us from the other end of the backseat.

She was the only maid who had accompanied us as per Tobias’s order after our brief argument earlier in the day. I was utterly shocked at his reaction and anger and though I didn't bring myself to say it my heart warmed at his actions.
