"Okay darling," I patted his hand and let him go, my eyes fixed on him. "I'm right here."

"Better don't move," he warned jokingly and I nodded, our interaction causing a few glances to shift in our path.

I lowered myself in the seat, Jarvis and Reed already settled at the table, and we all angled our heads to watch Tobias walk up to the front of the congregation, his movement making everyone pause their movements and the conversation dying down to a small buzz.

"Here Luna," Jarvis stretched out his arm concealed in a long-sleeved brown shirt he tucked into black ironed slacks I spotted earlier. "Here's...
