My heart pounded like it wanted to fall out of my chest, as I stepped out of the cab.

This morning, my father called me saying. "Uncle Karim has invited you to his home. Something about some college opportunities."

I didn't believe that even for one bit. Why didn't he just come here like he used to and say it? Except he had some ulterior motive.
