I hated coming to this place. Anytime I rolled up in my Bentley in this godforsaken convent I felt like throwing up.
Everything was so gloomy and dead. Let's not even talk about the hypocritical priests. Balding men who condemn what I do but kiss my ass when I donate huge sums of money to their seminary.
But the donations weren't to appease them. No. It was to buy me all the time I could spend with Sister Maria.
I can't forget the first day I saw her. A tiny petite girl, barely five-three with a shapeless habit that drowned her.
