It’s so sunny outside that it’s hard to open my eyes as we lie stretched out on the blanket. I hear the kids arguing about whose turn it is to feed the swans, but I just ignore them as I burrow deeper against Julie.
“Those swans are going to be so fat,” she laughs as I squeeze her thigh.
