There were quite a few things I wish someone had told me before starting high school.

1. Popularity isn't everything.

2. Not everyone is your friend.

3. Cherish the friends you do have before they're gone.

I wish I had known these things before starting high school. Because maybe if I had, things wouldn't be the way they are now. If I had known these things I would have been more observant. I wouldn't have been some oblivious teen who let everything get by her.
