I didn't think that things could get any worse. That after all I've been through, things couldn't possibly get as bad as they were. I was finally moving on from Cam's death and things were looking up for me. Things were actually getting better.

But the thing about life is that it's cruel and it waits for no one. Things could be the greatest they've been in a while but then suddenly that happiness is ripped away from you like some violent storm destroying everything in its path.

Things weren't getting better for me. They were just the calm before the actual storm hit.
