Dimitri’s POV

The sun was rising over pack lands, casting a small but soft golden glow on the hills and valleys that stretches as far as the eye could see, pack lands all safe and protected from the wrath of the ancient wolf. The battle was behind us now, and the land and people were all healing .

For the first time in what felt like an eternity, I felt a sense of peace settling over me but it wasn’t just peace—it was a sort of  hope.
