The grand hall of the Werewolf Council was a place of immense power, with high, arched ceilings and walls lined with ancient furnitures depicting the long history of the werewolves. Each interior told a different story of triumph, loss, and perseverance. Dimitri stood at the center of the room, flanked by Louis and two of his trusted warriors, as the Council members sat in a half-circle around them, their expressions a mix of sternness and intrigue.
