Dinner was plentiful, cooked by Ella. They just ate and chatted, happy, and friendly. After eating, they sat at the dining table talking for a while, talking about the past, talking about the future, then David and Mr. Stephen stepped out into the living room, and Ella gathered the dishes on the table.

Mr. Stephen advised David. “You must not bully Ella, or I will take care of you.”

David laughed happily. "Never. I will love and cherish her.”
