‘Why did I agree to this? Why did I think it was a good idea? How did I not know that he would be here as well?’ Sonya thought as she saw Shane hanging out with James. She should have known that James would invite him. 

She would have to ignore him now. Without being obvious, even though it was more than obvious to everyone that she was avoiding Shane.

But it was not her fault. He made her do it by insulting her. Whatever. Nothing could be done now.
