"I'm not on his way," Kathy Clark answered, looking up at the man.

"I'm not on my way with you either," Ryan Campbell replied coldly.

Then he hugged me into the car, totally ignoring Kathy Clark. "You take me home first," I remarked as his car was about to start.

Ryan Campbell paused , turned to face me,

I pretended not to care. I am your pal. Besides, I have no right to blame you if you leave me here and come back immediately."

"Are you really so generous?" frowned Ryan Campbell.
