I stood outside the compound pacing to and fro while awaiting Gray's presence.

My mind and body weren't at peace , and I could tell I would collapse at any moment if Gray didn't show up .

To be precise, Gray's job scares me a lot . It's way too dangerous and risky .

I know most times he never comes back being defeated, but who can tell what the future holds . Maybe one day he might not at all .

I had to lean on the wall for support , as my trembling hands gripped my phone tighter .
