I heard the door creak open and I threw the scroll to the raven.

"Sam, why are you here?" Dad's voice echoed as his approaching footsteps disturbed me.

"I'm here to look around" I replied as I hesitated to leave the room.

I turned back to look at the demon, he was not laying on the floor, he got tied up on the chair.

The raven was not in the room. It must have taken the scroll

Thank goodness.
