Adrian's POV

The police officers are already seated in the office of their chief to receive me. This is the headquarters in the city of Paris. From the gate, they kept some escort officers to take me to the office. Though I have people walking with me, I feel lonely deep inside because I'm not walking with the love of my life. Missing her becomes more greater and effective now because she is now like part of me.

As I arrive in the office, they all rise to greet me, including their chief. I feel on top of the world with this gesture, I marvel at the way I'm commanding...
