“Forget about what happened last night and what I said last night,” Alex insisted.

“Do you think you’re crazy? Fuck you, I can’t believe you’re telling me this,” I paused and turned my head, unsure of how to respond to what he’d just said. “Alex, how dare you?” It was all I could manage to say, even though I was furious.

His brows wrinkled and his right brow rose as he turned to face me. He stood there in front of me with his arms crossed, groaned exasperatedly, and then turned and walked towards the door before I could react to what had just unfolded.
