While I was still in bed, I thought about everything that happened that week. Yet, what Chen said that day remained fresh in my head until now. I wondered how he was after he heard what I said at that time.

Perhaps, he may have given up. I hoped so.

Then, I flinched when I heard the bell ring. I swiftly got up and immediately grabbed my phone to check whether I missed something today.

As I walked toward the front door, I was scrolling on my screen and checked my notifications to see if I have forgotten about having a visitor today or not.
