“There is nothing to be alarmed about. It's just that this man here promised me something he will not fulfill” he kept kicking him mercilessly.

“I will punish him according to the law once I gather all the facts, so please let your anger subside.” The king said softly.

“What is there to investigate, your Majesty? Sporadically, one can justify an immediate execution.” Is this really a king? Miguel thought. No one would dare challenge his father's authority back in the Pack. His next action shocked everyone. He drew out a sword from a guard, ready to stab him with it.
