Sienna's voice echoed in Dante's head as the private jet cut through darkness toward Morocco. Her tears. Her fear. Her desperate plea for him to stay.
But he did have to do this. For her. For Leo. For all of them.
Across from him sat Catarina. Checking her weapon. Face hard. Focused.
"You okay?" Dante asked.
"Fine. Just ready to end this." She looked up. "How's Sienna?"
"Terrified. Angry. Trying to hold it together for Leo."
"She's strong. Stronger than you give her credit for."
"I know. But I hate leaving her. Hate that she's back there worrying while we're flying into God knows...
