“Pregnant?”
Dante said the word like it didn’t quite belong to him. Like it might slip away if he wasn’t careful.
Sienna watched his face, her hands resting over her stomach.
“Yes,” she said softly. “I’m eight weeks.”
Dante blinked once, then twice. The words finally landed.
Another baby.
He drew in a sharp breath, like he’d forgotten how to breathe for a second.
“Are you serious?” His voice cracked, but a smile was already breaking through. “Really?”
Sienna nodded.
“Three tests. The doctor confirmed it yesterday.”
