Lorenzo's ultimatum hung in the air. Come out and he'd let Leo live. Stay inside and they'd burn.

Leo was crying. Shaking. "Mama, I'm scared. I don't want to burn."

"We're not going to burn, baby." She held him tight. "Lorenzo is lying."

"How do you know?"

"Because he doesn't want us dead. Not yet." Sienna's mind raced. Thinking. Calculating. "He wants leverage. He wants to use us against your papa. Dead bodies don't have value."
