Soraya's Pov

The next morning Irene came to check on me and bring me some tea. She had been one of the few pack members who still treated me kindly even after everything that happened at the dinner.

"How are you feeling today?" she asked setting the tea on the nightstand.

"About the same, maybe a little worse."

"The doctor said your seal will break soon. Are you scared?"

"Terrified. I do not know what will happen when my wolf finally emerges."

"You will be fine. You are stronger than you think."

I wished I could believe that but my wolf had been getting louder and more aggressive every day....
