Darius's Pov

I spent most of the evening going over the trap plan with Dante and my top warriors. We would leak Soraya's location to one of the suspected spies and then set up an ambush at that location. When the Patriarch arrived we would surround him and take him down.

It was simple but it could work if everyone did their part. The problem was I could not trust everyone.

"We need to talk about Matteo" I said to Dante after the others left.

"What about him?"

"He has been acting suspicious for weeks now. Undermining my authority and turning people against me. What if he is working with...
