“You… booked the entire boutique?

Darius only shrugged. “Of course,” he said softly. “I don't want anyone else seeing you in your dress before I do.”

My eyes widened. He what?

I turned to looked at the boutique in front of us, its glass doors closed to the outside world. Through the huge windows, I could see a “PRIVATE APPOINTMENT IN PROGRESS” sign already placed outside. Inside, golden lights glowed gently against the marble floor. Rows of gowns sparkled like starlight. And not a single other customer in sight.

He… booked the entire place. This huge, elegant boutique, just for me?
