The day after I heard about the missing pack members my mark started acting even weirder than before. It would glow randomly throughout the day and every time it happened I would lose a few seconds.

I'd be standing in the library and then suddenly I'd be by the window with no memory of walking there. Or I'd be eating breakfast and then I'd find myself in the hallway holding a glass I didn't remember picking up.

It was terrifying because I didn't know what I was doing during those lost seconds. Was my wolf taking control? Was I doing things I couldn't remember? What if I hurt...
