Soraya’s Pov

The next day after breakfast Irene found me in the library where I was trying to read a book about werewolf history. I wasn't really understanding most of it because the language was so old and formal but I figured I should at least try to learn about this world I was now part of.

"Miss Soraya" Irene said from the doorway. She was one of the maids who had been really kind to me since I got here. She was older with gray hair and warm brown eyes that reminded me of the nice lunch lady we had at the orphanage.

"You can just call me Soraya"...
