He leaned in and immediately my heart rate increased. Not that it hadn’t run a marathon already when we first saw him. But why was he standing so close to me? I knew he knew he had an effect on me. No screw that, if you’re that gorgeous you must know your effect on everyone within a fifty-foot radius.
