Faye huffed, rolling her eyes as she walked in, taking a seat beside me on the bed. "I've been standing there long enough to hear you ask questions about the healer you shouldn't be asking."

"Why shouldn't I be asking?" I asked, arching my eyebrows at her.

"Is it so wrong for me to want to know the woman who helped my kid and also took care of me while I was unconscious?"

"No, it's not wrong but no one appreciates you sticking your nose in things that have nothing to do with you," she retorted, taking me aback.
