Ember's POV

We both took in each other's appearance, silently assessing ourselves. No one said anything for the first few minutes. I couldn't help but notice the dark circles around her eyes and the wrinkles on her face, I didn't need to be told twice but I knew she was going through a lot. She also seemed to have lost some weight.

Seeing her I'm reminded of all we went through together when we were younger and how she betrayed me without second thoughts, just to have a man that was rightfully mine .Funny enough, I always shared all I had with her because I felt she was my sister...
