The smile on Aspen's face was big as he drove into the parking lot of Dulce's apartment building, his joy knowing no bounds. 

 He was here to pick up his kids to spend the day with him after weeks of only speaking to them over the phone, and he missed them terribly. 

 When he got to the parking lot, he took a deep breath and sent a text to Dulce. 

 Aspen: Hi, I'm here to get the kids. 

 It took some minutes before she replied.

 Dulce: Oh, hi, Aspen. I had to rush to work early. You can go up and get them. Becker is still in. 

 Aspen's smile faltered...
