I woke up quite early the next morning because I was so eager to see Bella. She hadn't returned home with Alexander's family yesterday, because the tension between them had just been so much. My mother in law was such a nice woman. When she noticed Bella wasn't comfortable returning home with them, she insisted Bella stayed back with us, until Alexander came for her. Alexander's father had huffed in a way that showed he doubted his son was gonna want to have anything to do with Bella anymore. I could tell that it broke her heart. But good enough, she looked better this morning. Not so much...
