"Clara, Brigitta, what are you doing?"

Bella had just finished lunch. When she went to the kitchen, she found the two house assistants busy preparing something. Bella was curious. It wasn't usual for the two of them to be so busy like they were now.

"We're making a birthday cake."

Bella immediately looked puzzled.

"Birthday cake? Whose birthday is it?"

"Mr. Edward's," Clara replied without diverting her focus from the cake batter she was working on.

"So, today is Mr. Edward's birthday?"

"Yes," Clara nodded. "His 34th birthday."

"Oh my. I had no idea that today was his birthday. Did Mr. Edward request this cake?"
