"Edward, darling...."

Bella and Edward turned in unison when they heard someone calling out. Turning around, they found Julia approaching with a stunning appearance that dazzled the other party guests.

Bella felt embarrassed, of course. She was afraid that her presence with Edward would make Julia angry and think all sorts of things.

"Julia, you came?" Edward greeted when his wife stood perfectly in front of him. "Aren't you supposed to be---"

"My training is done, darling. So, I decided to catch up. I'm not too late, am I?" Then Julia's gaze shifted to Bella standing beside Edward. She scanned her from head to toe. "Did you both come together?"...
